Samsung’s focus on tablets going forward is already going to include a Lite version of the Galaxy Tab 3, and now we might have a glimpse at what could be the Galaxy Tab 4 as well. An SM-T331 has shown up on Indian import tracking site Zuaba,
and the model number suggests it will be part of the Galaxy Tab series
(the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is SM-T31)*, while the import price of $550 (Rs.
33,884) hints at a high-end tablet, more high-end than current Galaxy
Tab devices.
That, naturally, makes one wonder if this might be one of the first
tablets to have an AMOLED screen after the ill-fated Galaxy Tab 7.7.
Well, we certainly hope so, though what screen size the tablet will
carry remains a mystery – it could be an 8-inch or 10-inch panel, as
Samsung is said to be working on both 8-inch and 10-inch AMOLED display tablets,
but again, we’ll have to wait for more details to leak out before that
mystery gets solved, especially since there’s no certainty the SM-T331
will even sport an AMOLED display.
As for the specs, don’t expect it to be as high-end as the Galaxy
Note 10.1 2014 Edition as that will high up the price of Samsung’s
affordable line of tablets quite a lot, but for that price.
